Don't try this on your own. You need accountability.

To be successful at winning this battle you will need at least one accountability partner.  This shouldn't be your spouse but someone that can ask you questions like, "Are you lying to me?"   Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. Ecclesiastes 4:9

One of the traps I fell into was only asking my accountability partner if he was doing anything wrong.  We actually weren't doing anything wrong but....  Now I ask, "Did you do anything right?"  It is easy to not do anything wrong but that doesn't mean we are doing anything right.  Now I have to be concentrating on doing things right with my spouse, taking her out, going for a walk, putting flowers on the table, doing dishes... and if I do enough right then there is no time or place to do the wrong things and doing wrong is no longer an issue.
